WiSA Irrigation are primarily involved with automation systems for irrigation control, however with the WiSA system there is a big difference when compared to other Automated Irrigation Systems in the market. The WiSA system offers the complete solution for all industries, not only can you manage all your irrigation requirements but it can also be used as the transport and delivery service for a wide range of environmental sensors. The WiSA system communicates wirelessly, using low powered radio telemetry which ensure no cables where they are not wanted.

The types of sensors that can be communicated to include:
    - Weather stations (whether they be complete units or individual sensors)
    - Temperature probes
    - Soil moisture probes
    - Water quality including ph, EC
    - Plant sensors
    - Flow meters
    - Paddle Switches
    - Actuation valves

The WiSA system will give you greater control, increased flexibility whilst providing a high level of accuracy. The data is always real time so decisions can be made instantaneously rather than keeping to that “same old irrigation schedule’. You irrigate when it is most desired and when it will have the greatest benefits.

Incorporating Weather Data and Soil Moisture Data into the real time irrigation system means irrigation can be based on real data straight from the field. Water is only applied when it is required and no more than necessary because the sensors are in place giving real time feedback from the field. This in turn reduces input costs such as water, time, labour, electricity and fertilisers whist still ensuring the best use of water and maximum benefit to the plant or crop.

All WiSA control systems can be logged into remotely using either mobile telemetry or internet connections so you don't even need to be on site to make decisions. Weekend irrigation/work can be easily monitored from the comforts of home or when travelling away or interstate.

The WiSA control system is incredibly versatile. The system is PC based so all that is required is a PC. The smart software communicates through the base station to remote units in the field and this versatility continues in the field with the remote field units. These remote field units can either be 240volt powered, 24 volt AC (common irrigation voltage) or solar powered stand alone units which results in less cable so there is a unit suitable for any application in any location. All data and information is recorded and can be viewed in a graphical interface allowing for quick easy interpretation of data. This data can be configured to trigger start and stop for the irrigation system based on weather, rain and soil moisture to allow complete automation with water on demand.
